Bring a possible water area, local knowledge and a route to long-term water access.

What you get: You get an explicit study of whether a site works before anyone commits capital, and a documented permitting pathway you can reuse.

Developers and housing operators

Test floating delivery against a real housing, student, staff or transitional accommodation need.

What you get: You get a costed comparison against land-based delivery at a scale you choose, with the assumptions open.

Marine engineers and naval architects

Take ownership of buoyancy, stability, freeboard, mooring and marine loads.

What you get: A defined technical scope with a route to being the engineering partner on the pilot and beyond.

Modular manufacturers

Price and industrialise three standardized module sizes designed for repeatable production.

What you get: Early influence over the product interfaces, and a position as supplier if the project proceeds.

Utility and energy partners

Define the shore connection, energy concept, water and wastewater systems and metering.

What you get: A specified scope in a project type that is likely to recur, and input into the system architecture.

Insurers and lenders

Tell us what a floating residential asset must satisfy to be insurable and financeable.

What you get: Influence over the construction standard and survey regime before design is frozen rather than after.

Strategic investors

Fund the verification phase that turns a cost model into evidence.

What you get: A defined milestone plan with a clear decision point, and no request to fund construction before it is justified.

Current phase

We are funding verification, not construction.

DONSÖ does not currently have the capital to finance a 50-home community, and is not trying to raise it. The development target for the present phase is SEK 1–3 million, tied to the milestones opposite.

The primary commercial objective is to secure a paid feasibility study and a conditional pilot agreement before committing to any production assets. If no party is willing to pay for a feasibility study, make a water area available, or conditionally commit to a 6–12 home pilot, the thesis has been tested — and nothing should be built.
